Dixit has argued that the CIAA asked him to furnish property details going against existing legal procedures. He has urged the SC to annul the CIAA's instruction.
“I have been asked to furnish property details without informing me about complaints or allegations against me. It is against due process and the constitutional body like CIAA should follow the law,” posted Dixit on his facebook account.
The anti-graft body had summoned Dixit at CIAA office last week on suspicion of having amassed property disproportionate to his known sources of income. However, Dixit claims that he was not informed about any charges against him when he appeared at CIAA but was only asked to furnish his property details.
