During a regular press meet at the party central office Koteshwor on Saturday, Sapkota said, "People are eager to make the new CA election successful". Stating that the ongoing nationwide election campaign launched by his party has been effective, he asserted that the party has received positive feedbacks about the election from the people. [break]
He said none has rights to go against the people´s aspirations, undermining the national necessities.
Claiming that his party has the responsibility of conducting the election, the UCPN (Maoist) Spokesperson said the parties boycotting the election would vanish from the mainstream of politics. Madhesi Janadhikar Forum and Federal Socialist Party have agreed to take part in the election whereas a decisive talks with other two parties were expected to take place within a day or two, according to him.
"The High Level Political Committee is ready to adopt maximum flexibility to convince the disgruntled parties to join the election", he said.
Deadline for registering names in the voters´ list could be extended and quota for proportional representation in the new CA could be increased on the basis of political consensus, said Sapkota whose party is currently heading the HLPC.
