Disposing of stored body parts of wild animals at CNP starts

CHITWAN, June 26: Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Agni Prasad Sapkota today inspected the storage of body parts of various wild animals in the Armed Forest Guard Training Centre at Tikauli and Chitwan National Park Office in Chitwan.

CHITWAN, June 26: Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Agni Prasad Sapkota today inspected the storage of body parts of various wild animals in the Armed Forest Guard Training Centre at Tikauli and Chitwan National Park Office in Chitwan. 


After the inspection, Minister Sapkota said all the stored body parts of wild animals would be destroyed except for a few samples which would be kept for study and scientific research.

The process to select sample body parts and dispose of the remaining has already started and that it will be completed within a week, the concerned authority said. RSS
