RANJHA, Nov 12: Locals have initiated efforts for the expansion of Nepalgunj-based Ranjha Airport as a regional international airport.
They started holding discussion at local level to endorse the decision for up-gradation of existing airport to the regional and international standards and take permit for embarking on flight service to New Delhi from Nepalgunj .

Nepaljunj Sub-metropolis Deputy Mayor Uma Thapa Magar informed that a decision was made to urge the provincial and federal governments for the approval for airport expansion and Delhi flights.
The meetings were attended by district-based representatives of different political parties and business community, shared Banke Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nanda Lal Baishya. RSS
