He said agreement of the Upper Karnali was wrong as the electricity generated from the project will be linked to the Indian transmission grid.

Similarly, Rabindra Adhikari of CPN (UML) stressed for the implementation for the budget and added that bringing the budget in time itself was a positive step.
Lawmaker Chandrika Prasad Yadav said no development in agriculture sector was happened though Nepal was an agricultural country. He also asked to improve the quality of telecom services in the country.
Lawmakers Arbinda Shah, Dan Kumari Sunuwar, Laxman Lal Karna, Janak Kumari Chalise, Prakash Chandra Lohani, Radha Devi Timalsena, Maya Prasad Sharma, Gokarna Rai and others expressed their opinions on budget, its implementation aspect and the major projects to be conducted in the country.
In today’s meeting, deliberation on different topics of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry of Local Development, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Law and Justice, Ministry of Physical Planning and Works, Ministry of Information and Communications and other Ministries is underway.
Earlier, Chief whip of the Nepali Congress (NC), Laxman Prasad Ghimire, at the beginning of the House session, demanded ruling from Speaker Subas Chandra Nembang in absence of the ministers saying that who will answer the questions raised in the House meeting.
After this, Speaker Nembang drew attention of the government saying that absence of ministers in the House meeting was disappointing and deferred the House meeting for half an hour.
