KATHMANDU, Dec 24: The discussions on the Bill to amend some Nepal Acts have been postponed. The Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee of parliament was scheduled to discuss the bill today.
According to the chairman of the committee, Bimala Subedi, 20 people were asked to attend the discussion. As many as 62 lawmakers of the federal parliament have filed amendment proposals to the Bill.

The lawmakers proposing the amendment bill, including Dol Prasad Aryal, Raghuji Panta, Ganesh Parajuli, Amresh Kumar Singh, and others, demanded a discussion with all the lawmakers who proposed the amendments to the Bill at once.
Chairperson Subedi said that she had spoken to 56 out of 62 lawmakers, and 20 lawmakers who could attend had been called.
