KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Dipendra Singh Airee, an all-rounder of the Nepali national cricket team, has been named the brand ambassador for Omoda & Jaecoo vehicles. The appointment was made by SPG Automobiles, the official dealer of the brand in Nepal, under the Sharda Group. Airee has signed a three-year contract with the company.
At a special event held on Monday, Airee was handed the Omoda E-Five, the car he won as the ‘Electrifying Player of the Tournament’ at the recently-held inaugural edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), where Omoda & Jaecoo was a co-sponsor. The event was attended by Sharda Group officials and members of the Nepal Cricket Association.

Airee expressed his excitement about the partnership, praising the innovative and affordable electric vehicle (EV) technology offered by Omoda & Jaecoo. “The futuristic EV with state-of-the-art features at an affordable price is the best and unmatched in this segment,” he said.
Gaurav Sharda, Director of SPG Automobiles, highlighted Airee’s achievements, noting that his commitment to cricket aligns with the values of Omoda & Jaecoo. "Airee is one of the rising stars in world cricket, and we are proud to have him as our brand ambassador," he said.
The collaboration is expected to elevate both Nepali cricket and the automobile industry, leveraging Airee’s growing popularity and the rising demand for EVs in Nepal.
