Diesel plant begins operation in Hetauda

HETAUDA, Dec. 14: The diesel plant established in Chaukitol in Hetauda Municipality has resumed generation of electricity from today.



Although the plant had 14 MW capacity, it will produce only 10 MW, said the center.



The plant was operated under the direction of the Nepal Electricity Authority Load Dispatch Division, the Center said.



It will take 2,500 liters of diesel while operating seven diesel machines each hour, the centre said. The plant was repaired one and half years ago.
