According to Bardibas Hospital, many people of Gauribas, Maisthan, Khayarmara, Hattilet, Kisannagar and Bardibas VDCs are suffering from the diseases.
Radhe Shyam Jha, senior health worker of the hospital, said at least 50 patients of the six VDCs has been coming for treatment every day since the first day of Shrawan.
It is said that consumption of drinking water contaminated by incessant rainfall since five days, lack of cleanliness in villages as well as lack of mosquito nets has increased diarrhoea, cold and typhoid patients.
