Speaking at a gathering, CA member Binod Pahadi said, “The two students did not receive treatment as there was no one at the sub health post and the private clinic neglected the sick.”

According to a report submitted by the parliamentary team, there was no one at the health post. While assistant health worker Ganesh Gaur was in Tansen, maternity health worker Laxmi Aryal was in Rampur for a seminar. The report also claims that Narmati died due to negligence of an illegally running private clinic.

The team has directed Chief District Officer Tika Ram Ghimire to take necessary action against Gaur and Chaturdhan Saru, the owner of Asmita Medical, who is said to have sent a team of health workers with medicines to the villages.
