BIRGUNJ (Parsa) March 14: Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Nepal, Upendra Yadav, has said that they were for resolving the current political deadlock through political dialogue and consensus.

At a press meet organized by the Madhesi Journalists' Society in the district Saturday, Chairman Yadav said that the dialogues among the political parties have not achieved progress so far.

He further said they would opt for protest if the consensus eluded from dialogues. Past agreements should be implemented otherwise talks have no meaning, he added.

Similarly, the chairman said the new federal provinces should be formed on the basis of ethnicity, and linguistic and geographical features.

According to him, adopting referendum to resolve disputed issues of federalism was meaningless. RSS
