DHL named best employer in Asia-Pacific

KATHMANDU, May 24: DHL, the world´s leading logistics company, has been named ´best employer´ in Asia Pacific for its express division by Aon Hewitt -- a global leader in human resource consulting and outsourcing solutions. According to a press release issued on Friday, DHL Express received the ´best employer´ award in Thailand and Indonesia for the first time, joining DHL Express Korea who received the same award earlier this year.



"The awards are part of the Aon Hewitt Best Employers -- Asia 2013 Study, which measures employers´ effectiveness in creating a workplace environment that engages employees and enables them to deliver real competitive advantage through their employees," reads the release. DHL was presented with both the ´Best Employer in Asia Pacific´ and the ´Best Employer´ awards in Thailand at a ceremony held in Bangkok on Thursday, as per the release. Jerry Hsu, chief executive officer of DHL Express Asia Pacific, said DHL was honored to have won these awards for the Asia Pacific region with additional awards for our local market operations.
