KATHMANDU, March 26: The mayor of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city, Gopal Hamal, has asked for help in searching for his daughter, who has gone out of contact from the Indian city of Goa.

Mayor Hamal, in a Facebook post, stated that his elder daughter, Aarti, has been out of contact since Monday from Zorba Vibe Ashwin Bridge in Goa, India.

"My elder daughter Aarti is an Osho follower. She has been living in Goa for a few months to meditate on Osho. As news came from her friend, she has been out of contact from Ashwin Bridge since yesterday [Monday]. I humbly appeal to the well-wishers living in Goa to help in the search for her," Mayor Hamal wrote on Tuesday.

Mayor Hamal also mentioned that his younger daughter and son-in-law are already on their way to Goa to find her whereabouts. 

However, Mayor Hamal has not notified the police office to search for his daughter. SP Padam Bahadur Bista, Chief of the District Police Office, Kailali, said that no information has been received yet.
