BUTWAL, May 11: Kamruddin Rai, the Deputy Mayor of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City in Banke, has announced his decision to stay with Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP).
Deputy Mayor Rai, also the chairman of JSP Banke district chapter, issued a statement clarifying his stance against party division. He affirmed his commitment to staying within the party.

Rai pointed out that the recent ordinance regarding party division was unconstitutional. He highlighted the presence of elected representatives from the district, a majority of central members, party leaders, and cadres who continue to support the party.
