Chief of the District Public Health Office, Tanahun, Dr Sushil Nath Pyakurel, said that the patient was diagnosed with the disease at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectitious Diseases Hospital, Teku, Kathmandu quoting national focal person of dengue in Nepal, Dr Basu Dev Pandey.
The patient was serious and suffering from dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) but has recovered since.
