Defense Minister Khadka is Acting PM

KATHMANDU, May 31: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense, Purna Bahadur Khadka, has shouldered the responsibilities of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal who is in India on an official visit.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal went on a four-day visit to India on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Office of the President, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Khadka has been given the responsibility of handling the daily administrative work of the Prime Minister in his absence.
