Deepak Karki leading in Dhanusha-1

JANAKPUR, Nov 23: Deepak Karki of the Janata Samajwadi Party has maintained his lead in the vote counting for the House of Representatives election from Dhanusha-1. Karki is leading the race by securing 5,824 votes, while Matrika Prasad Yadav of the Maoist Center is following him with 3,605 votes.

RPP's Manoj Malla Thakuri is in third place with 2,650 votes, while Kishor Shah Kamal of Janmat Party has secured 2,662 votes.

The counting of votes in Ganeshman Charnath Municipality has been completed.
