Minister for Information and Communications Shankar Pokharel, who is also the government spokesman, at a function in Kathmandu claimed that the Maoist fighters, who participate in the plenum, will be regarded disqualified for integration.
Meanwhile, CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli said the combatants who participate in the plenum should not be allowed to return to the cantonments. "If they participate in the plenum, the government should stop their salaries and other allowances and their names should be removed from cantonment rosters," he said.
