KATHMANDU, March 7: A meeting of the four major political forces--UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and United Democratic Madhesi Front-- has decided to make Friday´s meeting as ´decisive´.

CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal said that the leaders have agreed to most of the contentious issues. "We have agreed on more than four issues out of five," Khanal said to BBC Nepali Service on Thursday evening.[break]

When asked it was a usual rhetoric from the political leaders, the chairman said that this time it was for real.

The leaders decision comes at a time when the Supreme Court today postponed the hearing on a writ filed against the chief justice-led election government.
