Death toll rises to 8 in Dolakha flood

KATHMANDU, Aug 3: Eight workers employed at the construction site of Sipring Hydropower Project in Dolakha were killed after their camp was swept away by flood in Mulkharka river on Monday night, our correspondent Ramesh Khatiwada reported.



Though it has been known that few workers are still missing, the police is yet to track down the number of the missing workers.



Six injured workers are being airlifted to Charikot for treatment.



According to junior engineer of the project Chet Nath Nepal, two of the rescued workers are critical.
