KATARI, March 2: The death toll of the Katari jeep accident has reached two.
The death toll reached two when critically injured Lal Kumari Tamang, 30, died in course of treatment at Biratnagar-based Nursing Home. Bir Bahadur Tamang, 70, of Katari municipality-8 had died on the spot in the accident.

The accident took place as a jeep (Na 1 Ja 8333) heading towards Thaliya from Katari-8 fell some 100 meters off the road at Katari-7 on Friday evening.
Deputy Superintendent of Police at Area Police Office, Katari, Subas Rai, shared the information. The jeep driver Tharma Singh Tamang, 33, of Katari-8 has been arrested.
A total of 13 people were injured in the incident, and of them, eight are undergoing treatment at different hospitals in Biratnagar.
