KHALANGA, Aug 10: The death toll in the Pyuthan bus accident has reached eight .
Four passengers died on the spot and 25 others were injured when a bus, Na 3 Kha 8383, heading to Sautamare Bangephedi from district headquarters of Pyuthan met with an accident near Khalanga on Monday afternoon.

One among the dead has been identifed so far. She is Maya KC of Pyuthan Municipality-15. The identiy of the rest is yet to be ascetained.
Among the injured, three are receiving treatment at Bagdula-based Life Care Hospital, while three others have been referred to other medical facilities. All others are being treated at Pyuthan Hospital, Bijuwar.
According to an eyewitness, the accidnet took place while the bus was giving a side to a motorbike coming from the opposite direction.
