Gopal Chand of Suda threatened with life to Society Chairperson Kushmi at the latter´s office at Bhansi. [break]
A group of inebriated youths including Chand entered the office on Monday evening and vandalized physical properties.
The irate youths warned Kushmi to take his life for not handing over a certificate of basic journalism training.
Chand had filled up form for journalism training conducted by Radio Pahichan affiliated to the Society. But he was not regular in the training sessions.
I was asked for training certificate. After I rejected the idea, a group of youths led by Chand stormed into my office and threatened to take life´. Said Kushmi.
The Society has demanded the arrest and action against such perpetrators at the earliest.
