KATHMANDU, June 25: A dead body of an unidentified person was found in course of the weekly Clean Bagmati campaign today.
In course of the cleaning on the 163rd week today, a body was found inside a sack near Thapathali Kupandole area of the Bagmati river bank, according to Executive Director of the High-powered Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee Rajesh Prasad Singh.
The body was handed over to police for necessary action.
Meanwhile, seven metric ton of solid waste was collected in the cleaning that took place under the campaign today.
Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police personnel, the Committee members, staff of Kathmandu Municipal Corporation and the members of the general public took part in the cleaning of the sacred Bagmati river and its banks along Thapathali today. RSS
