DDC employees among three hurt in Janakpur shootout

JANAKPUR, May 12: An unidentified armed group on Tuesday morning shot at an employee with District Development Committee, Dhanusha.



The armed gang had opened fire at non-gazetted officer Jiba Nath Chaudhari when he was on his way to office from home. He is being airlifted to Kathmandu for necessary treatment.



The bullet targeted at him has left another DDC employee Mitthu Tiwari as the bullet pierced through Chaudhari´s chest. Likewise, the splinters of the bullet also left Bimala Sharma, an employee with Nepal Electricity Authority, injured. Tiwari and Sharma are currently undergoing treatment at District Hospital, Dhanusha.
