KATHMANDU, Oct 5: DAV School has organized Sushil Kedia Memorial inter-school cricket, futsal and table-tennis tournaments in DAV School, Jawalakhel, Kathmandu on Thursday.
Thirteen schools from the capital city Kathmandu are participating in the futsal whereas eight schools will play cricket. Futsal and cricket matches were played on Thursday whereas table-tennis matches will start on Friday.
St Xavier’s School, Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya, Kanjirowa School, AVN School, Modern Indian School, British School, Paathshala School, Aims School, Little Angels School, Triyog School, Bluerain School, DAV A and DAV B are participating in the futsal events.
Likewise, Galaxy Public School, Sainik Awasiya, LRI School, AVM School, Rajshri Gurukul School, Gems School, DAV A and B will be vying trophy in cricket. DAV A and Gems School has reached semi-final round in cricket on Thursday.
Similarly, in futsal, DAV A and B, Kanjirowa, Little Angels, Sainik, Modern Indian, Paathsala and St Xavier’s reached quarter-finals after winning their respective matches on Thursday.
