She is a second year political science student at master´s level. She has worked as treasurer of the ANNISU-R at the campus and actively participated in student politics.
ANNISU-R nominated Ramesh Kumar Darji as its candidate for vice-president at the campus, Durga Dhami for treasurer and Manoj Kumar Yadav for assistant secretary, according to Manushi. They filed their candidacies Thursday afternoon.
The Maoist student wing has also nominated Srijana Sharma (Baidya), daughter of another top Maoist leader, Mohan Baidya, as its candidate for treasurer at Pashupati Campus, Chabahil. She is a third-year Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) student at the campus.
The union nominated Khagendra Parajuli as its candidate for president at the campus, Raj Kumar Yaksho Limbu for vice president and Shiva Rai for secretary, according to DB Tamang, an ANNISU-R leader at the campus.

Nepali Congress-affiliated Nepal Student Union (NSU) has fielded Anjan Lama as its candidate of president at the Central Campus, Kirtipur. Ganesh Bista of NSU has also filed candidacy for the same post, rebelling against the NSU leadership’s decision to nominate Lama.
The NSU nominated Manoj Baidya as candidate of president at Pashupati Campus, Chabahil. It named Raj Kumar Khattri as candidate of president at Mahendra Morang Campus, Biratnagar, Subhas Koirala at Janta Multiple Campus, Sunsari, and Tirtha Rai at Mahendra Multiple Campus, Dharan, according to Durendra Rai, NSU central member.
Likewise, CPN-UML-affiliated All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU) has also nominated its candidates for the elections. It selected Bidur Subba as candidate for president at Central Campus Kirtipur, Pravin Shrestha at Baneshwor Campus, Jivan Rai at Pashupati Campus, Chabahil, Navaraj Khatiwada at Balmiki Kendriya Bidyapith, and Dinesh Ghimire at Koteshwor Multiple Campus, according to Kishor Bikram Malla, secretary of ANNFSU.
FSU election is scheduled to be held nationwide on March 19.
