"It aims to provide publishers and advertisers in Nepal a local platform to effectively carry out their advertising business online," the statement reads, adding that Damaru Ad Networks works with online publishers who wish to allot their ad space and monetize it.
"It then sells the space to advertisers following which the ads are distributed to the publishers' site through the network's server code.
The performance of the ad is then tracked whereby you can find out how many views it has had and how the campaign is doing."
Instead of dealing with hefty spending and lack of transparency, one can now pay advertisement bills in Nepali currency and also target advertisements to the specific groups in Nepali language, it added.
