KATHMANDU, Nov 6: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Thursday declined 11.29 points to close at 2,596.12 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,607.42 points and jumped to the day’s high at 2,622.44 points in the first six minutes. For the next two hours, the market index fluctuated between 2,612 and 2,622 points, before falling down to the day’s low at 2,591.02 points in the last one minute.

Two groups—manufacturing and processing, and mutual funds—gained 8.91 points and 0.03 points, respectively. Of the 11 losers, non-life insurance dropped by the largest of 108.95 points.
The sensitive index, which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies, decreased 2.08 points. The daily turnover increased to Rs 5.41 billion from Rs 4.68 billion.
Among the individual companies, 78 were gainers while 165 were recorded as losers. Shivam Cements had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 309.13 million.
Sampada Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the topmost loser. Daramkhola Hydro Energy Limited had its market price increased by the highest of 10 percent.
