However, he ruled out the possibility of unification between his party and the CPN-Maoist before the polls. "We are holding talks with other like-minded fringe parties to forge poll adjustment," said Dahal.[break]
Speaking to media persons at Geta, Dhangadhi, on Friday, Dahal said, "I am hopeful that Baidya will join the election process." He further said that they would forge adjustment with Baidya-led CPN-Maoist in the view of Constituent Assembly (CA) polls.
"Talks with Baidya regarding adjustment are underway," added Dahal. He, however, said unification with the Baidya´s party is possible after the November elections. "We can give around 92 seats because they also had as many CA members when they split the party and formed the new party," maintained Dahal.
Asserting that the CA will be held on the slated date of November 19, Dahal said, "No force can stop CA poll from taking place on the stipulated date." He clarified that polls will be held even if Baidya boycotts the poll process.
"The people will teach them a lesson, if they [Baidya] foil the elections," maintained Dahal. He claimed that a majority of the CPN-Maoist leaders still favor elections.
