This meeting, the second between PM Dahal and UML Chairman Oli in as many days, is seen as significant amid ongoing discussions about a potential new power equation. Reports have surfaced about power-sharing talks between Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Additionally, PM Dahal and Oli held a discussion at Singha Durbar on Sunday where Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and home minister, was also present.

Malla dismissed rumors about changes in the power equation, stating, "That is just a rumor."
