KATHMANDU, Oct 17: Nepal Army (NA) has appointed Brigadier General Nain Raj Dahal as its new spokesperson, effective from Monday. According to a press statement issued by NA's Directorate of Public Relations, outgoing spokesperson Brigadier General Jhankar Bahadur Kadayat handed over the responsibility of the army's public relations directorate to Dahal amidst a special function held on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, outgoing spokesperson Kadayat thanked everyone including media houses, publishers, editors and journalists covering defense beat for their support during his tenure as the army's spokesperson.
