Stating that the writ against Karki´s appointment as immature and based on suspicion, Dahal demanded that the apex court scrap it.
Advocate Om Prakash Aryal on March 20 had moved the court challenging the government´s preparations to appoint Karki as the chief of the anti-corruption body. The apex court had also summoned both petitioner and defendants for discussion.
Dahal along with The Office of the President, Chairman of Interim Election Council Khil Raj Regmi and his office, Constitutional Council, the CIAA and Karki are made defendants in the writ petition.
