KATHMANDU, Nov 1: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has accused CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli of trying to overthrow the republic.
Speaking at a program in Kirtipur on Monday, Dahal accused Oli of trying to overthrow the republic. He claimed that the regressive forces were making efforts to undermine the republic at a time when the Maoists were weak.

Dahal said that the party needs to move forward with new ideologies and determinations. He also alleged KP Sharma Oli of meeting with people close to former King Gyanendra Shah.
Dahal argued that Oli had not been in favor of the republic in the past and he is likely to overthrow it if he gets any chances to do so.
“Although the CPN (Maoist Center) has done a lot of praiseworthy works, we have not been able to publicize our works properly,” Dahal said. He said that the leaders and party members will prove the leadership of the party by working for the cause of the people.
Stating that the landless squatters are facing a major problem in the Kathmandu Valley, he said that the CPN (Maoist Center) will work toward solving the issue soon and also inform the bodies concerned about the problem. Dahal also urged the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation to start the work of distributing land ownership certificates to the landless immediately.
While stating that he is ready to fight against the separatists, Chairman Dahal also said that the CPN (Maoist Center) will not fight again with weapons but with the support of the public.
