Dabur Nepal provides relief to Parsa fire victims

BIRGUNJ, April 23: The Dabur Nepal Pvt. Ltd. has provided a financial assistance of Rs. 100,000 for the Parsa fire victims.



Company General Manager Kailashram Chaurasiya gave away a cheque of the assistance to President of Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Ashok Kumar Baidya amidst a programme here on Tuesday.



The cheque was presented in the presence of Chairman of the District Disaster Management Committee and Parsa Chief District Office Benimadhav Gyawali.



According to BCCI President Baidya, the amount will be deposited in the Chambers´ relief fund and will be spent for the benefit of the fire victims of Dhore, Mirjapur, Bakhari and Jayamanglapur.



These VDCs witnessed a huge fire few days back. The Chamber has appealed for help to one and all for managing shelters for the fire victims and has been receiving financial support from various organizations.



Similarly, the Plastic Entrepreneurs´ Association has extended relief assistance to the fire victims of Mirjapur and Langadi VDC. As many as 42 victims have received the assistance.



They received a tent, plastic mat and utensils, five kilogrammes of potatoes and onion each, Association General Secretary Suresh Sharma said.
