KATHMANDU, May 30: The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the main opposition party, Nepali Congress is scheduled to be held at 1pm on Saturday.

According to a press statement issued by the party, the meeting will discuss the Constitution Amendment Bill registered by the government in the Parliament Secretariat yesterday seeking to change the map in Schedule 3 of the constitution to depict Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani as the country’s territories.
The party has asked all the members of the Central Working Committee and invited members of CWC to attend the meeting compulsorily.
Earlier on May 27, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had requested all political parties to support the government to endorse the Constitution Amendment Bill unanimously.
NC then had requested the PM to wait until the party makes a decision through its CWC meeting.
