Crossed Views at AFK et al

KATHMANDU, May 5: “Crossed Views,” a showcase of award-winning French and Nepali short films, is being hosted on May 11, 12 and 13 by the Alliance Francaise in Kathmandu and AADI Productions, with the support of New Nepali Cinema and Highway.



The screenings will be held at 4 pm each day at the Yala Maya Kendra at Patan Dhoka.[break]



The showcase is to highlight on each day one of the three common themes of youth, relationship and humanity underlying in the 10 French and the five Nepali short films selected to be shown.







After the screenings, there will also be an interaction with a special guest who will discuss the topic of the day.



Both the French and Nepali short films are in the original version with subtitles in English, and the entry to viewing them is free.



The screening schedules are as follows:



1st Screening: Friday, May 11 – Youth
