KATHMANDU, April 10: Marking the anniversary of the devastating earthquake that rocked the nation last year, 'Reflections 25.4.16,' a week-long cross-media exhibition will be held at Patan Museum in Lalitpur starting April 25,with a parallel exhibition in Bristol, UK.

This innovative art and storytelling project was announced at a press meet held at Nepal Tourism Board on Exhibition Road last Friday. The team consisting of Bhuwan Rokka, Harry Morgan from the UK, and Marli Gordon from the US have been coordinating the exhibition which will see a unique combination of arts, photography, journalism and audio to tell the stories of Nepal post the earthquake.Talking to Republica, Bhuwan Rokka said, "The main idea behind organizing this cross-media exhibition is to present the people's stories without any form of editing. Nepali and international journalists, artists and photographers have worked together to produce the 20 stories and we are presenting them as it is. There will be English transcripts of the stories, audio files of the same stories, and supporting photos and illustrations."

The team also announced that their website reflections25416.com will go live on April 25. "We will use the exhibition, website, and later a potential book publication to promote local as well as international art and artists, and use real journalism for positive changes in the world," states the press release.
