KATHMANDU, August 11: CPN (Unified Socialist) has entrusted its central members with responsibilities to intensify preparation for the federal and provincial assembly elections announced for November 20.
A Secretariat Meeting of the party held on Wednesday at its central office in Shantinagar assigned General Secretary Dr Beduram Bhusal to develop necessary criteria, process and methods to pick possible candidates in the upcoming elections.

The meeting presided over by party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal designated the party office Secretary and Deputy General Secretary Gangalal Tuladhar to register the party at the Election Commission.
Likewise, the party’s Deputy General Secretaries trio Dr Tuladhar, Dr Bijaya Poudel and Prakash Jwala are entrusted with the responsibility to prepare the party's election manifesto.
