CPN-UML reviews latest political developments

KATHMANDU, March 15: An informal meeting of some central members of the CPN (UML) and the party leader KP Sharma Oli has concluded that formation of the Interim Election Council chaired by Khilaraj Regmi was an achievement.



The meeting concluded that the political parties have succeeded to oust the Unified CPN (Maoist) leader Dr. Baburam Bhattarai-led government.[break]



The UML leaders stressed that the party´s central committee should work to make preparations for the fresh Constituent Assembly elections, said Krishna Gopal Shrestha, a participant central committee member of UML.



Similarly, the meeting stressed that the election government should take necessary consultations with the political mechanism and move ahead for the election.



The meeting was held between the available leaders of the UML due to party chairman Jhala Nath Khanal´s busy schedule.
