KATHMANDU, May 15: CPN-UML is leading in the Banepa Municipality, according to the latest vote counting.
As per the latest update, in the mayoral candidacy, UML candidate Laxmi Narsinh Bade is currently leading with 319 votes whereas NC candidate Ram Joshi is in second position with 262 votes whereas Maoist Center candidate Bhola Thapa is running in third position with 61 votes.
Similarly, for the deputy-mayoral candidacy, Rekha Dahal of CPN-UML is leading with 322 votes. Likewise, Nirmala Shrestha of NC is in second position with 259 votes. And Maoist Center is in third position with 58 votes.
