KATHMANDU, Dec 10: The CPN-UML has finalized the names of its 34 lawmakers under the Proportional Representation (PR) electoral system.  

Deputy General Secretary and Chief of the Communication Department of the party Prithvi Subba Gurung informed that the party’s Secretariat meeting held in Chyasal on Saturday selected 22 women and 12 men lawmakers under the PR list.

Here is the full list of the PR candidates sent by the UML to the Election Commission:

Khas Arya : Raghuji Pant, Eknath Dhakal, Dayal Bahadur Shahi, Menka Kumari Pokharel, Sarita Bhusal, Shova Gyanwali, Bijula Rayamajhi, Nirmala Koirala, Samjhana Thapaliya, Deepa Sharma and Sunita Baral

Indigenous Community : Debi Prasad Bhattachan, Hemraj Rai, Kaluram Rai, Nainakala Thapa, Surya Kumari Shrestha, Urmila Thebe, Rana Kumari Balampaki Magar, Shanti Shrestha and Saraswati Subba  

Dalit Community : Ishwor Bahadur Rijal, Prabhu Hazara Paaswan, Chandra Bahadur Bishwokarma, Rukmani Rana Baraili and Harka Maya Bishwokarma

Madhesi Community : Ganga Prasad Yadav, Amrit Lal Rajbanshi, Bina Devi, Amrita Agrahari and Pratikshya Tiwari Mukhiya

Tharu Community : Aashma Kumari Chaudhary and Shanti Chaudhary

Muslim : Saraj Ahmad Khan
