KATHMANDU, Sept 14: The CPN-UML has condemned manhandle of its woman candidate for local level election at Saptakoshi municipality-4 in Saptari district Wednesday night. 

Although police had arrested Roshan Lekhi, Nasib lekhi and Kaushal Lekhi for their involvement in manhandle same night, the party said, questioning why they were released without action. 

Similarly, the party also condemned the attempts to vandalize a vehicle of party's standing committee member and coordinator of Province No 2, Satya Narayan Mandal. 

A press release issued Thursday by Deputy Chief of CPN (UML) Central Publicity Department, Surya Thapa, demanded such activities be stopped immediately. The Province No 2 is holding the local-level election on September 18. RSS
