KATHMANDU, Dec 27: Meanwhile, speaking to reporters at the Godavari Village Resort where the meeting is taking place, Madhav Kumar Nepal, leader of CPN-UML said that leaders of both CPN (Maoist) and the UML have used most of the time in the meeting in "venting ire" against each other. "I do not think we can reach any conclusion today," said Nepal, who came out of the meeting room for a brief period. "There´s a lot of dissatisfaction among the leaders."
The meeting is still on.

KATHMANDU, Dec 27: Top leaders of CPN (Maoist) and CPN-UML are currently holding talks at Godavari Village Resort, Lalitpur, to thrash out differences between the two ruling parties.
Before attending the meeting, CPN (Maoist) Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal told NTV that the two parties in the coalition government are holding talks to strike a high-level understanding between them in the light of "extreme situation" in the country.
Both the Maoist and the UML have been at loggerheads over their cadres´ actions, among others.
Among other issues on the table are appointment to constitutional bodies like Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) and Public Service Commission (PSC).
Earlier, myrepublica.com reported that Nepali Congress was also attending the meeting but the party is not*. "We have made our views clear yesterday and asked the two parties to settle their differences first," Laxman Ghimire, chief whip of the party told myrepublica.com.
