CPN-Maoist to expose corrupt officials

KATHMANDU, Oct 7: CPN-Maoist Secretary Netra Bikram Chand, who is also the in-charge of National People´s Volunteer (NPV), said on Sunday that his party will make public the names of corrupt officials who led to the collapse of several national public enterprises.



Organizing a press meet at the party headquarters, he informed the party would make public the names of corrupt officials on Wednesday. The national convention of NPV will be held in Kathmandu from Wednesday to Friday. [break]



He also expressed dissatisfaction at NPV being labeled a military wing of the party. "If we are to form a military wing, we will announce it publicly," said Chand. "We do not need to keep it a secret."
