COVID-19: 3,130 recover, 46 die on Monday

KATHMANDU, June 21: The officials at the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) confirmed that 3,130 people got over the fatal disease in the past 24 hours as of Monday afternoon. Forty six other people, however, died of the disease during the same period.

KATHMANDU, June 21: The officials at the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) confirmed that 3,130 people got over the fatal disease in the past 24 hours as of Monday afternoon. Forty six other people, however, died of the disease during the same period.

The ministry shared that 89.9 percent of the total infections [622,640 confirmed via RT-PCR and 27,308 via antigen tests] have so far won their battle against the disease. As many as 8,772 patients have so far succumbed to the disease, which accounts for 1.5 percent of the cases confirmed. 


Meanwhile, Nepal detected 2,297 new cases of the disease on Monday through the 10,904 tests carried out across the country.
