KATHMANDU, March 22: Nepal has added 150 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours. Those cases were diagnosed through 4,472 real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests carried out in the last one day, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Of the new cases confirmed at 64 COVID-19 designated labs across the country, 84 are from the Kathmandu Valley alone.

With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally jumped to 276,056 of which 272,020 have so far recovered from the virus that was first detected in the country on January 23 last year.
Nepal has so far reported 3,019 fatalities linked to this viral infection including three more deaths confirmed in the past 24 hours.
