Famous Nepali band ‘Albatross’ created and sang ‘Nischal’ back in 2012. Nepali music lovers still admire the song. Covers for renowned songs have trended in YouTube. Lately, Migma Lama has recreated a unique version of the hit track for ‘Covered’, a Radio Nagarik 96.5 show. Unlike the original, Lama’s cover version is smooth and soothing.
Lama says, “I have adored soft and melody genre from the very beginning. But I yearned to work on a different kind of music for Covered. ‘Nischal’ is an appropriate track for Covered. I have been listening to the song for over two weeks. Finally, the song got approved.
Lama said that she found the entire team friendly. “I never felt them to be new crew members. Thanks to their friendly nature. We have successfully built a strong bond,” she shares.

Radio Nagarik 96.5 provides the requisites for producing the audio and video of a cover song. The selected artists are also featured on ‘Covered’. The radio show is aired on Sunday from 7 pm to 8 pm on Radio Nagarik 96.5.
