KATHMANDU, Jan 22: The Supreme Court has decided to give a nationwide holiday to courts to mourn the death of former Chief Justice Mohan Prasad Sharma.
A plenary session of the apex court on Saturday decided to grant holiday to all courts across the country on Sunday to mourn over Sharma's death.
According to a notice published by the apex court, Sharma had made invaluable contributions during his tenure to establish the values of an independent judiciary and to the development of the justice and law sector in Nepal.
