The NOC has directed the petrol pumps to arrange coupon system following complaints by the consumers that they did not receive the fuel despite queuing up for hours before.
The NOC has said that the consumers have to compulsorily take coupon before getting fuel. "Lining up alone will not suffice; they have to take coupon, too," Depot Chief of NOC, Thankot Rabin Sharma told Republica.
Earlier, almost two-thirds of private vehicles had to return home without fuel during the fuel distribution for Dashain.
According to NOC, two-wheelers from 1 to 30 lot will get fuel on Thursday, 30 to 50 lot on Friday, and those above 50 lot will get petrol on Saturday.

Two-wheelers will get 5 liters of petrol, while four-wheelers will be distributed 10 liters, it added.
The nearby petrol pumps are distributing five liters of petrol to each private vehicle starting from Thursady.
